DBH opens its new branch in Barishal

[Dhaka] DBH Finance PLC. (DBH), the largest housing finance institution of the country, recently inaugurated its branch in Barishal city. The branch aims to offer home loan and deposit services to the people living in Barishal city and adjacent areas. This is 16th branch of DBH and located on the 2nd floor of Khan Faiz Shotaiyu Bhabon, Sahid Nazrul Islam Sarak (Police Line Road) of Barishal city.
Nasimul Baten, Managing Director and CEO of DBH, formally inaugurated the branch in a simple ceremony held at the branch recently. Prominent developers of Barishal city and other high officials of DBH attended the branch’s opening ceremony.
With this new branch, DBH now has a footprint across all divisions of Bangladesh, covering the major cities and urban areas. DBH Finance PLC, formerly known as Delta Brac Housing Finance Corporation Limited, obtained AAA credit rating for 19th consecutive years for its strong financial capacity. The company provides financing under conventional home loans, shariah-compliant Islamic housing finance and mobilize deposits under conventional scheme and Mudaraba scheme. DBH aims to focus on affordable housing loan and sustainable green housing finance, the new branch opening in Barishal is aligned with that goal, says the press release.
