The 8th meeting of Shariah Supervisory Committee of DBH Finance PLC was held at the Board Meeting Room of its Corporate Head Office.
The Chairman of Shari’ah Supervisory Committee of DBH Finance PLC and prominent Islamic scholar of the country Dr. Muhammad Saifullah presided over the meeting. Other members of the Shari’ah Supervisory Committee, Md. Fariduddin Ahmed and Dr. Zubair Mohammad Ehsanul Hoque, CSAA attended the meeting. Among others, Managing Director & CEO of DBH Finance PLC Nasimul Baten, Head of DBH Islamic Financing Division (IFD) Tanvir Ahmad, CFO Md. Abdul Ahad and other high officials of DBH IFD also attended the meeting.
The formal proceedings of the meeting began with the recitation from the Holy Quran and various issues related to Shari’ah compliance in overall operations of DBH Islamic Financing Wing (IFW) were discussed in the meeting, says the press release.
Chairman and other members of the Shariah Supervisory Committee expressed their satisfaction and thanked the management of DBH IFW for their continuous focus to maintain strict compliance of the Shari’ah rules and norms. The meeting concluded with Dua and Munajat and wishing the continuous prosperity of “DBH Islamic”, which is providing Islamic home financing and Mudaraba deposit services to the customers through its network of 16 branches covering all divisional headquarters of the country.
