Banglalink Appoints Jahrat Adib Chowdhury as Deputy CEO

[Dhaka, 15 April 2025] Banglalink has announced the appointment of Jahrat Adib Chowdhury as its new Deputy CEO, marking a significant milestone in the company’s journey as a digital leader.
Jahrat joined Banglalink in 2014 and has been serving as the Chief Legal Officer and Company Secretary. With over 20 years of experience across multiple industries, she has played a key role in driving Banglalink’s transformation from a telecom operator to the most innovative digital operator in Bangladesh. She has led various strategic projects, including asset-light initiatives and regulatory compliance efforts.
In her new role as Deputy CEO, Jahrat will work closely with the senior leadership team to shape Banglalink’s strategic direction, ensuring the company continues to deliver exceptional service to its customers while unlocking new opportunities for the country. In addition to her current responsibilities involving Legal, Corporate Governance, and ESG, she will also drive Banglalink’s financial services ambitions.

Jahrat, a Barrister-at-Law from Lincoln’s Inn, UK, and an alumna of Harvard Business School, is the first female Deputy CEO in Bangladesh’s telecom industry.
