Digital Device and Innovation Expo 2026 kicks off-Samsung is the platinum sponsor

[Dhaka, January 28, 2026] The Digital Device & Innovation Expo (DDIE) 2026 officially kicked off today at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre. Samsung is leading the event as the Platinum Sponsor, reinforcing its commitment to accelerating Bangladesh’s digital transformation journey.

The four-day expo was inaugurated by the Honorable Chief Adviser, marking the beginning of one of the country’s largest technology showcases under the theme ‘Taking Bangladesh to the World.’
The event brought together policymakers, industry leaders, innovators, and global technology brands to highlight Bangladesh’s growing capabilities, innovations, and potential in the ICT sector.
As the Platinum Sponsor, Samsung showcased its latest portfolio of smartphones and tablets, B2B exclusive rugged devices & solutions like KNOX Guard, alongside exclusive discounts of up to BDT 70,000 on a wide range of its state-of-the-art devices, drawing significant attention from visitors and tech enthusiasts on the opening day.
Speaking on the occasion, Mohammad Masudul Haque Bhuiyan, Director & Head of Business, MX Division, Samsung Electronics – Bangladesh Branch Office, remarked, “The Digital Device & Innovation Expo is a powerful platform to showcase how technology can shape the future of Bangladesh. Organized jointly by the ICT Division, Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority, and Bangladesh Computer Society (BCS), DDIE 2026 is expected to attract around 300,000 visitors over three days. The expo features more than 130 pavilions and stalls across multiple thematic zones, including innovation, digital lifestyle, local manufacturing, international brands, mega sales, seminars, and B2B matchmaking.
This year’s exhibition showcases participation from over 100 local and international ICT companies, startups, universities, and government organizations, highlighting advancements in digital devices, smart solutions, manufacturing capabilities, and emerging technologies.
With its strong presence at DDIE 2026, Samsung continues to reaffirm its role as a key driver of innovation in Bangladesh, supporting the country’s ambition to expand its digital ecosystem and connect local innovation with global opportunities.
The Digital Device & Innovation Expo 2026 will continue until 31 January, offering visitors hands-on experiences, knowledge-sharing sessions, and exclusive deals on cutting-edge technology.
