Obituary: Head Teacher Ashish Dey

Ashish Kumar Dey (48), the head teacher of Dakshin Shilok M Shah Alam Chowdhury High School in Rangunia Upazila of Chattogram and the General Secretary of Rangunia Upazila Head Teacher Association, passed away early Thursday morning at Chattogram National Hospital due to cardiac arrest.

At the time of his passing, he is survived by his wife, a daughter, and numerous admirers.

His cremation was completed today at noon at his ancestral home in Chandraghona Hindupara.

The education community is deeply saddened by the death of the highly popular teacher Ashish Dey.

Having been devoted to the teaching profession for a long time, he was respected among his colleagues and students for his dedication and integrity.

Various teacher organizations and educators from different schools in Rangunia have expressed their profound grief over his demise.
