[Dhaka, March 2, 2026] In response to the ongoing tensions and security uncertainties in parts of the Middle East, Banglalink has announced a special initiative to support its customers seeking to stay connected with their loved ones in the region, reflecting the company’s continued commitment to its care-driven philosophy: “Banglalink – For You”
The Middle East hosts a large Bangladeshi expatriate community whose contributions remain vital to both their host nations and Bangladesh’s economy. Recent developments in parts of the region have understandably heightened concern among families at home, including many Banglalink customers anxiously awaiting reassurance about the safety and well-being of their relatives abroad.
Acknowledging the critical importance of uninterrupted communication during such moments, Banglalink is offering free access to IMO for its customers from March 3 to March 5, 2026.
Under this initiative, customers will be able to make voice and video calls through the platform without incurring additional data charges during the offer period, ensuring that financial constraints do not stand in the way of essential conversations. Banglalink customers can activate the free IMO access offer by dialing *121*555# once during the campaign period.
Speaking on the initiative, Kazi Mahboob Hassan, Chief Marketing Officer of Banglalink, said, “At Banglalink, our responsibility extends beyond providing network services. As a digital operator committed to a people first approach rooted in care, we remain focused on delivering meaningful support to our customers during critical times. By ensuring seamless communication, we aim to ease the concerns of families and reinforce the human dimension of connectivity, where care, empathy, and reliability come together to support people when they need it most.”
