Oil tanker fire in Chittagong Coast Guard vessels under control

An oil tanker named “Banglar Jyoti” exploded at Dolphin Jetty in Patenga, Chittagong.
On receiving the report of the fire around 10:30 AM on September 30, Coast Guard vessels Pramatta, Metal Shark and two firefighting teams immediately started working to control the fire.
Later, firefighting units of the Navy, Air Force and Fire Service joined. At present, firefighting teams are continuing their operations.
