UCL Wins ‘Gold award’ from ICSB for corporate governance excellence

Unilever Consumer Care Limited (UCL) has received the ‘Gold Award’ from the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) for Corporate Governance Excellence. The 11th ICSB National Award was handed over to UCL at a gala event in a city hotel on Saturday. Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed, Honorable Adviser, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, has graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and handed over the trophies and certificates to the winning companies. The prestigious award was received by S. O. M. Rashedul Quayum, Non-Executive Director, along with Md. Naharul Islam Molla, Company Secretary and Regulatory Affairs Head, and other senior officials from UCL. Dr. Md. Khairuzzaman Mozumder, Secretary, Finance Division, Ministry of Finance, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Mr. Md. Selim Udain, Secretary, Ministry of Commerce, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and Md. Abdur Rahman Khan, FCMA, Secretary Internal Resources Division (IRD) and Chairman National Board of revenur (NBR) Ministry of Finance were also present at the event as special guests.
